Tenzer PLLC’s litigation group provides value to its clients through a results-based, efficient approach to the legal disputes faced by its clients. We take the time to understand our clients’ businesses and understand their industry-specific concerns, keeping in mind that our legal strategies must not only advance litigation but also assist our clients to run their businesses successfully and manage their litigation risk.

Our skilled litigators regularly handle all aspects of complex commercial litigation—from pre-suit investigations to appeals and post-judgment enforcement—and handle cases throughout Florida’s state and federal courts. We represent large institutional clients in ongoing litigation and unique, complex actions, as well as small to medium-sized businesses and individual clients. We have specific experience in suits involving breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duties, violations of consumer protection statutes, antitrust, garnishment, and business torts. We also provide local counsel services to out-of-area clients and law firms litigating in South Florida. We are familiar with local judges and attorneys, and as local counsel we can assist lead counsel in navigating the complex (and often unconventional) South Florida legal landscape.

Additionally, litigation does not automatically end with a final judgment. Frequently, the party unhappy with a final judgment, a jury’s verdict, or the court’s previous rulings “takes an appeal,” which means that the party seeks additional judicial review from a higher court. Because appellate courts have their own rules and customs, practice before such courts is significantly different from practice before trial courts. Experienced appellate counsel can assist clients in navigating appeals and avoiding traps for the unwary or inexperienced. Tenzer PLLC’s attorneys have successfully represented appellants and appellees before Florida and federal appellate courts and can assist you with all phases of your appeals, including appellate mediation, petitions, and special writs.
